15 mile bike ride with my buddies after work
so. feeling good about the scale moving back down. the weekend was unfortunate- even though i worked out a bit (a couple times on the hotel treadmill, one short run outside, one LONG walk around the mall of america), it was pretty much a bust. i eat SO much better when i am home.
for those of you who have expressed curiosity- palak paneer is an indian dish, basically sauteed spinach and cheese cubes. plus or minus some rice and red beans. i eat the frozen dinner kind. the 'amy's' brand has rice and red beans and 270 calories. the 'ethnic gourmet' has rice and 240 calories. and i have to say- i love that stuff. man. i LOVE it. iloveitiloveitiloveit. that and a cherry zero coke and i am in heaven. people at work make fun of me because i eat the same thing every day. but once you taste it you will understand why!
so the other thing is that i was up in the kitchen talking to my mom about yoga, and started doing a couple poses, and realized, i love that too. i miss it! i used to take a yoga class a couple of days a week back in the lou, and haven't done it since. i need to check out what my options are.
the other other thing is that i love cycling. today's ride was so awesome- i am not trying to sound like a brat but i am a great cyclist- it is totally my sport. i've got these long strong legs, and some days i feel like i could just ride forever. i was thinking today that i should do more than just this recreational riding- i think i want to really train. not sure what for... maybe we build to that. so how do you find a trainer? better yet, how do you find a FREE trainer?
and... i think that's it for today.
anyway.
